LATEST @ 9. 15 AM | Police have confirmed a teenage boy reported missing from Logan Reserve has been found.
Officers located the 18-year-old safe and well a short time ago following a major search and rescue operation overnight.
Grave concerns had been held for the teen, who hadn’t been seen since 11pm Sunday, as he suffers from a medical condition.
Police have thanked the community for their assistance.
EARLIER @ 8 AM | A major search and rescue operation is underway in Logan for a missing teenage boy.
The 18-year-old was last seen at a Burdekin Road property in Logan Reserve around 11pm on Sunday, but has not been seen or heard from since.
Police and carers hold grave concerns for the teen’s welfare as he has a medical condition, believed to be autism.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, with short brown hair, and is wearing camo shorts, no shirt, and no shoes.
Police are appealing for anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.
