Two people have been taken to hospital after a vehicle crashed into a roadworks truck on the M1.
The accident happened in the southbound lanes of the motorway at Stapylton just before 3.30am on Wednesday.
A VW Amarok had smashed into the back of a bump truck that was at the roadworks site.
The driver of the Amarok and the roadwork truck driver suffered minor injuries.
One was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition while the other was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
Police say investigations into the incident are continuing.
