Two teens are recovering this morning after they had to be rescued from the water in Surfers Paradise overnight.
Paramedics were called to the beach along Cavill Avenue last night following reports that two males in their late teens required treatment.
The pair were reportedly spotted 50 metres off shore calling for help around 7.00 pm after they were caught up in a rip.
They assessed them briefly at the scene before taking them to hospital for further treatment.
The extent of their injuries is not yet known but they’re understood to be in stable conditions at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
