Police are searching for the driver of a truck that failed to stop after a nasty accident on the M1.
A car was sideswiped in the northbound lanes of the motorway at Oxenford around 5.10am on Tuesday.
The truck continued along the motorway while the vehicle was stuck in the middle lanes of the M1.
Other motorists stopped to help the driver of the car and move the vehicle to the side of the motorway.
The driver was not injured in the crash.
Investigations are underway to locate the driver of the truck.
Meantime, a motorcyclist has escaped serious injury after being involved in a separate accident nearby.
The motorbike and a car collided in the northbound lanes of the M1 at Oxenford around 5.49am.
No injuries were reported and the rider of the bike got a lift with the tow truck driver along with his bike.
