Two teenagers are in hospital, including one in a critical condition, following a horror dirt bike crash on the Gold Coast.
Emergency crews rushed to Wallandra Road in Tallai around 4.15pm on Monday following reports of a serious single motorbike crash.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said initial information suggests two people were travelling on the unregistered trail bike when it struck a waterpipe.
The male rider was rushed to hospital in a critical condition, while the female passenger was also taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit has now launched an investigation into the incident.
They’re appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information or vision that may assist with the investigation, to come forward.
