Five teenagers have been arrested and charged over an alleged crime spree across the South East.
The brazen youths are accused of stealing two BMW’s from a home in Carrara on Monday before using them to commit a string of offences.
According to police, one of the vehicles was linked to two attempted break-ins at Pelican Waters on Tuesday and Moorooka on Wednesday.
While the second vehicle was linked to the alleged theft of two cars from a Morningside property.
The stolen BMW’s have since been recovered from suburbs in Ipswich, with police managing to track down the group allegedly involved.
An 18-year-old man, two 15-year-old boys, 16-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy have now been charged with a total of 20 offences between them.
Some of the charges include unlawful use of a motor vehicle and enter premises and commit.
They’ll front court at various dates over the next two months.
