Two teenagers are among four people who have been charged with a string of offences following an alleged crime spree on the Gold Coast.
Police allege a 15-year-old boy stole a 2023 black BMW IX whilst it was parked at a shopping centre in Southport with the keys still inside last week.

However, the stolen BMW wasn’t found until yesterday, when police spotted the vehicle parked at Council Chambers in Surfers Paradise.
Officers sparked a foot chase with a teenage girl and two men, with one of the men jumping into a lake to try and avoid arrest.
They were eventually caught and have been charged with multiple offences.
A 17-year-old girl from Varsity Lakes is facing one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.
While a 28-year-old Macleay Island man and 27-year-old Tweed Heads man have been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and three counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
