A teenager has been injured after being struck by a car on a busy Gold Coast street.
Emergency Crews were called to Southport just after school bells rang at around 3.10pm.
The girl suffered a head injury in the incident along Smith Street and was treated at the scene.
She’s been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
It’s understood the driver stopped and rendered assistance to the girl.
