An 18-year-old man has drowned at a popular swimming hole on the Gold Coast.
The teen dived into the water at the Currumbin Valley Rock Pools on Sunday afternoon and failed to resurface.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene around 4pm and immediately launched a desperate search for the young man.
Sadly, his body was discovered by police divers in the water a number of hours later around 8pm.
Police have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances.
A report will now be prepared for the coroner.
