A teenage boy remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital this morning following a nasty e-scooter crash in Paradise Point.
The teen was travelling along The Esplanade around 3.30pm on Monday when he allegedly collided head-on with a van.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the boy suffered “life-threatening head, chest and abdominal injuries”.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Witnesses, or anyone with dashcam, is being urged to come forward.
