A young motorbike rider is fighting for life following a horror crash in Pacific Pines.
Emergency services were called to a home on Pacific Bines Boulevard just after 3.30pm on Sunday following reports a Yamaha motorcycle had crashed into a fence.
Upon arrival, they found an 18-year-old Maudsland nab suffering life-threatening injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he is undergoing surgery.
The Forensic Crash Unit has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
They’re appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to contact police.
