One of five males charged over the stabbing death of Gold Coast teenager Jack Beasley has pleaded guilty to murder.
Jack was allegedly stabbed to death in Surfers Paradise in December 2019 after a fight broke out between two groups.
The boy, who was 15 at the time, today also pleaded guilty to two counts of committing malicious acts with intent.
It comes after a second teen last month pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Both boys will be sentenced after the conclusion of a trial for three others, which is due to start next week.
Jack’s father Brett says the family is “very pleased” at today’s outcome.
“At the moment we still can’t say too much but at the moment, we’ve got a guilty plea which is awesome,” Mr Beasley said outside court.
