A teenage girl has been lucky to escape serious injury after being hit by a car on the northern Gold Coast.
The teen was struck by a vehicle on the corner of Dixon Drive and Yawalpah Road in Pimpama around 6.20pm on Monday.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Meantime, a 29-year-old woman has also managed to escape with minor injuries after the car she was travelleing in collided with two trucks in Carrara.
The multi-vehicle crash happened southbound on the Pacific Motorway around 8.30pm.
One lane had to be blocked whilst emergency crews responded, before it was reopened around 9.10pm.
The woman was assessed by paramedics before being taken to the Uni Hospital in a stable condition.
Police have confirmed they are investigating.
