A young man is fighting for life following a massive crash in Pimpama that’s left four others in hospital.
A Holden Commodore mounted a roundabout along William Boulevard at around 1am Sunday morning before ploughing into a retaining wall.
The 19-year-old male passenger suffered a life-threatening head injury before being rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
Another passenger, a 20-year-old female from Western Australia, suffered suspected spinal injuries.
The driver, an 18-year-old male from Coomera, was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital for assessment and is assisting police with their investigation.
Two other passengers sustained minor injuries.
Witnesses or anyone with information, including dashcam footage of the vehicle, is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
