An alleged road rage incident has ended in violent scenes at the gates of Dreamworld on the Gold Coast.
A black Holden Commodore smashed into a wall at the entrance to the theme park around 3.30pm on Monday following a chase with a Subaru.
A fight then erupted in front of shocked families, with a 17-year-old boy allegedly hit across the head with a hammer by three armed men before they fled the scene.
The boy was treated at the scene by paramedics alongside another young man, who were both taken to hospital in stable conditions.
Their alleged attackers remain on the run, with a manhunt now underway.
Dreamworld confirmed in a statement that those involved in the incident were not guests of the theme park.
Investigations are ongoing.
