A person is in a critical condition after suffering a suspected medical episode at one of the Gold Coast’s most popular swimming spots.
Multiple emergency crews are currently treating the patient at the scene, after being pulled from the water at Tallebudgera Creek in Burleigh Heads just after 1pm.
The swimmer, whose age and gender are currently unknown, is in a critical condition.
A QAS spokesperson says they believe the person suffered a medical episode in the water.
