Emergency Services had a horrific night on Gold Coast roads, with a series of crashes resulting in injuries and hospitalisations.

A woman suffered a significant leg injury, after smashing her car into a tree in Pimpama in the early hours of this morning.

Paramedics, including critical care, rushed to Old Wharf Road and Pimpama Jacobs Well Road at around 4.15am.

She has been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

An hour prior, a female was injured after careening her car into a ditch in Carrara.

It happened on Nielsens Road and Meadowview Drive at 3.15am, with Paramedics transporting the woman to Pindara Private Hospital in a stable condition.

Earlier, a man suffered a back injury following a a single-vehicle crash in Labrador around 1.30am

Paramedics attended the incident along on Frank Street and Broad Street and transported the man to Gold Coast University Hospital stable.

Then last night at around 8.30pm a female driver escaped serious injury after smashing into a pole in Maudsland.

The woman was taken to hospital in a stable condition after the smash, which happened on Maudsland Road and Riverstone Crossing Exit.

The spate of Gold Coast crashes comes after two teens were involved in a horror crash in Bonogin overnight, which has left one young man fighting for life.

Around 1am the car careened off Bonogin Road and smashed into a power pole.

The driver, a male teen, has sustained a serious head injury and is in a critical condition, while the female passenger is stable.
