Southern Gold Coast M1 traffic at a standstill following collision

Motorists are being warned of nightmare traffic, with major delays heading southbound on the M1.

There’s been a three-car pile-up at Burleigh just after 10.15am this morning, reportedly involving a van and a truck.

Traffic is currently bumper-to-bumper all the way back to Robina, and getting increasingly worse.

Emergency Services are on the scene, with two patients currently being assessed by Paramedics.

A QAS spokesperson confirmed they appear to be in stable conditions.
