A skateboard rider has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on the northern Gold Coast early this morning.
The man, aged in his 20s, was struck while riding along Cuthbert Drive in Yatala around 5.45am.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics after suffering leg and head injuries.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the man has been transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
