Shoppers and workers have been forced to evacuate from a Gold Coast shopping centre after a fire broke out.
Emergency services were called to the shopping centre on Station St in Nerang at about 10.15pm on Thursday night after a blaze started on the roof.
Police assisted in evacuating people who were inside the centre.
QFES crews were quick to extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured during the incident.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
