Seven people including six teens have been arrested after two incidents involving stolen cars on the Gold Coast.
A stolen Mazda CX-9 was spotted being driven in the Brisbane suburb of Auchenflower around 6.40pm on Wednesday night.
The vehicle was allegedly stolen from Eumundi on Tuesday night.
The vehicle was tracked by Police and PolAir down the M1 to Robina.
Officers deployed a tyre deflation device with the vehicle coming to a stop on Glenside Drive around 8.30pm.
The occupants of the car fled but were arrested nearby a short time later.
A 17-year-old boy, 16-year-old boy, 12-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl have all been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
They will front Southport Magistrates Court at a later date.
In a separate incident, Police attempted to pull over a stolen Porsche Macan on the Gold Coast Highway at Broadbeach just before 1am on Thursday.
That car had been stolen from a home in Paddington on Saturday.
The vehicle sped off and managed to evade Police.
A tyre deflation device was deployed, however, the vehicle continued.
It eventually came to a halt on the M1 at Gaven just after 1.30am.
A man and two teenagers were arrested without incident with charges expected to be laid this morning.
