UPDATE @ 3.00PM | Police have confirmed a body has been found in the search for a 17-year-old girl missing from Robina.
A large-scale search and rescue operation involving Police and the SES was launched earlier today.
The teen had been missing since yesterday morning.
Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
“The family have requested privacy during this time,” a Queensland Police statement reads.
“A report will be prepared for the Coroner.”

EARLIER @ 11.15AM | Police have launched a search and rescue to locate a 17-year-old girl missing from Robina.
The teen was last seen yesterday, November 19, at around 8.30am on Bayberry Lane and has not been seen or heard from since.
Family and police have concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition.
“A land search and rescue is underway in the Carrara area with assistance from SES crews and members of the public,” a Queensland Police statement reads.
“A command post has been set up at the AFL ground along Nielsens Road, Carrara,
“Any members of the public who want to assist with search efforts are requested to meet there.”
Police are appealing to the girl, or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to immediately come forward.
