The countdown is officially on to the opening of one of the most anticipated rooftop venues in Queensland this summer.
After four years in the making, Kirra Beach House will finally swing open its doors to locals and tourists from 11am on Friday 8 December.
Boasting chic cabanas, wine and cocktail bars, a private seafood BBQ area, and a high-end wedding and event space, owner Dave Galvin said he is “thrilled” to finally be opening the doors.
“I can’t wait to see everyone in the venue from next Friday, we are expecting the opening weekend to be huge,” Galvin said.
“The venue will have a beach club atmosphere about it, with great music, mesmerising panoramic views of Kirra, Mediterranean-style food, a world-class drinks list and, of course, great service”.
Galvin said the “Southern Gold Coast has been crying out for a venue like this”.
“We are so proud of what we have created and we can’t wait to share our beachside bar with everyone”.
The menu will include dishes including Morten Bay bugs, Kingfish crudo, smoked ham hock croquettes, fried fish burgers, crispy bug rolls and cold seafood platters with rock oysters.
The Kirra Beach House sits a level above the iconic Kirra Beach Hotel, which reopened this week in the new Kirra Point Precinct.
