Emergency services have launched a search for an elderly woman on the Gold Coast after she disappeared from her aged care facility.
73-year-old Susan Benfer was last seen Tuesday afternoon at a residence on Imperial Parade in Labrador but hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Queensland Police and the woman’s family hold serious concerns for her safety and welfare as she has a medical condition which causes confusion.
Police are urging residents in the nearby area to check over their CCTV and dashcam, particularly from yesterday afternoon, and also check around their yards and properties.
Susan is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 165cm tall with a slim build, hazel eyes, and short grey-blonde hair.
Anyone with information about Susan’s whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
