Investigations are underway after a campervan was destroyed in a suspicious blaze at Burleigh Waters.
Emergency crews rushed to Omao Avenue around 6.30pm on Monday, after receiving multiple triple zero calls from concerned members of the public.
Upon arrival, they found a campervan fully engulfed in flames.
Fire crews immediately launched into action to douse the flames and managed to extinguish the fire a short time later.
Fortunately, no one was inside the campervan at the time of the blaze and no one was injured.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told myGC early investigations suggest the fire may have been “deliberately lit”.
Police investigations are ongoing.
