Police have launched a fresh appeal for information after a man was hit and killed by a car in Coomera late last year.

A silver Toyota Yaris hatchback was travelling along Shipper Drive around 12.30pm on November 3 when it struck a 40-year-old man.

The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Despite desperate efforts by doctors, the man died three days later on November 6.

The driver of the hatchback, a 34-year-old man, managed to escape physical injury.

The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.

They’re appealing for anyone with information, dashcam or CCTV, to come forward.
