Police are investigating whether a motorcyclist, who was run over on the Pacific Motorway yesterday, may have been deliberately hit.
Emergency crews were called to the M1 on-ramp northbound at Logan around 5.40pm on Wednesday following reports of a serious crash.
“It is believed a motorcyclist and Volkswagen Golf collided while merging, resulting in the motorcycle and rider being run over,” Queensland Police said.
“Logan Highway Patrol officers are investigating whether the motorcyclist may have been deliberately hit”.
The rider of the bike, a 50-year-old man, miraculously managed to escape with non-life-threatening injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Logan Hospital for treatment.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage of the area at the time is being urged to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
