Police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg at Marsden this morning.
Officers from Logan were called to a home along Avalon Court just after 7am, following reports a man had been shot in the thigh.
However, upon arrival, emergency crews were told the victim had already taken off from the scene in his vehicle.
Following ongoing investigations, a 40-year-old man turned up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his right leg around 10.00am.
He is currently receiving treatment.
A crime scene has been declared at the Marsden home as investigations continue.
