Police probe after driver smashes into parked cars in Surfers

Police have confirmed they’re investigating a crash in Surfers Paradise overnight, which saw a driver plough his vehicle into two parked cars.

The 33-year-old lost control of his Toyota Corolla along Clifford Street around 10.00pm, before smashing into a Suburu Impreza and a Toyota Camry.

Thankfully no one was inside the parked vehicles at the time.

The driver of the Corolla suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

He was then taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Investigations are continuing.
