Police have confirmed they’re investigating two separate crashes which occurred on the Gold Coast overnight.

The first happened along Saffron Street in Elanora around 7.30pm, when a car ploughed into a fence before crashing into a tree.

The driver, a man in his 20s, miraculously managed to walk away uninjured.

A few hours later, a ute slammed into two parked cars on Liam Court in Labrador around 1.30am.

The impact of the crash caused the ute to flip onto its side.

The driver was taken to hospital for mandatory testing, with investigations into the cause of the crash ongoing.
