Police have confirmed they’re investigating another crash in a notorious roadworks zone on the Pacific Motorway.
An Isuzu truck was travelling northbound along the M1 at Pimpama around 11pm last night when it ploughed into the back of a bump truck.
The driver of the roadworks truck, a 52-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the Isuzu truck, a 53-year-old man, was also treated at the scene for minor injuries.
It’s the second crash of its kind to occur in the area in just one week.
Last Thursday, a man was hospitalised after his vehicle also slammed into the back of a bump truck in the roadworks area.
Investigations are continuing.
