Police are working to track down a driver who allegedly ran off from a crash in Surfers Paradise in the early hours of this morning.
A black Nissan campervan smashed into a parked vehicle along Beach Parade around 12.05am.
The driver then allegedly sped off before abandoning the campervan nearby a short time later and escaping on foot.
Police have confirmed at this stage the vehicle is not reported as stolen.
Investigations are ongoing.
