Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike rider was seriously injured in a horror crash at Mudgeera.
A black Yamaha motorbike and gold Toyota Landcruiser station wagon collided along Gold Coast Springbrook Road near Hardys Road around 10.15am on Sunday.
The rider of the bike, a 19-year-old Mudgeeraba man, suffered serious injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
The driver of the Landcruiser, an 18-year-old Mudgeeraba woman, was not injured in the crash.
She is continuing to assist police with investigations.
Witnesses, particularly motorists with dashcam footage, are being urged to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
