A person is in hospital in a serious condition after a fire broke out in a Gold Coast home.
Emergency services were called to the property along Bull Road in Pimpama just before midnight.
Six people in the building had to be evacuated.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said a stove fire was to blame for the blaze and crews had everything under control pretty quickly.
Queensland Ambulance said one person was taken to the Gold Coast University for treatment for serious burns.
