Five people have been injured as a result of two separate crashes on the Gold Coast last night.
Paramedics were first called to Ormeau following reports a motorcycle had crashed along Lahrs Road.
It happened around 6.30 pm, with critical care paramedics also responding.
They assessed a man in his 20s for a leg injury before taking him to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Three hours later, around 9.30 pm, emergency services were called to Southport following reports three cars were involved in a crash.
Four people had to be assessed at the intersection of North Street and High Street.
Two women in their 20s were hospitalised with minor injuries, while two others declined transport to hospital.
