Two men have been charged after another man was found with stab wounds to his neck at a home on the Gold Coast.
Emergency services were called to a Middle Street property in Labrador around 8.45pm on Thursday following reports of a stabbing.
“It will be alleged three men have become involved in a verbal altercation which has escalated to a physical altercation on the street,” Queensland Police said.
During the fight, a 31-year-old Nerang man suffered a significant stab wound to his neck and a laceration to his left forearm and ring finger.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
A 56-year-old Southport man and a 20-year-old Labrador man were arrested at the scene and have been charged with unlawful wounding (domestic violence offence).
Both are due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court today.
