Get ready to soar to new heights of excitement as the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast announces its line-up of gravity-defying performers, set to dazzle and delight beach-goers from August 18th to 20th.
Aviation enthusiasts are in for a treat, as some of the world’s most skilled pilots will take to the skies to perform awe-inspiring aerobatic stunts.
Arizona’s Jeff Boerboon, the world champion aerobatic pilot, will bring his one-of-a-kind aircraft, the Yak 110, to the event.
With its impressive power-to-weight ratio, the Yak 110 can perform incredible manoeuvres, including Boerboon’s signature “Hang 110″ gravity-defying move.
Meanwhile, California’s Greg Colyer will showcase his mastery of the Lockheed T33 Shooting Star, making its Australian debut, and the United States Air Force KC-135R Stratotanker demonstration team from Washington State will also head down under for the event.
“We are excited to bring such a diverse and talented group of performers to the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast,” said owner of Pacific Airshow Kevin Elliott.
“Progress is well underway with a host of other world leading military aviators and civilian performers, of all shapes and sizes, which will be announced over the weeks leading to the event.
“Pacific Airshow represents the greatest collection of flying machines pushing the envelope over the world’s most spectacular stages.”

The event will also feature the United States Marine Corps’ tiltrotor aircraft MV-22B Osprey, presenting a pair of these fascinating planes, currently based in Darwin.
The Osprey will serve as the flying platform for the United States Navy Leap Frogs, one of the world’s most elite parachute demonstration teams, who will be performing at an Australian airshow for the first time ever.
Aussie aerobatics champion Aarron Deliu, Airboss legend Wayne Boggs, and the Royal Australian Air Force Roulettes will also be part of the line-up.
And let’s not forget about reigning Red Bull Air Race World Champion and an inaugural Pacific Airshow Gold Coast Ambassador, Matt Hall, who will be showcasing his incredible skills in his Edge 540 racing aircraft or MXS-R display aircraft.
The Pacific Airshow Gold Coast will not only feature spectacular flying displays but also ground activities stretching several kilometres along the Surfers Paradise Esplanade.
