Do you think your street is pretty neat?

From July 1, Gold Coasters are being encouraged to nominate local streets that have exceptional upkeep to My Neat Street for the chance to win a $100 voucher.

My Neat Street is a city-wide program that encourages residents to take pride in their street, by coming together to maintain their own properties and report any serious or unsafe maintenance issues within the public space.

“We think our city is pretty neat and want to celebrate the extraordinary efforts of our residents whose streets are welcoming, safe and simply the best,” Councillor Hermann Vorster said.

“It’s also your chance to engage with your neighbours, report any concerns to the City or relevant authority and build a connected community.

“If your street goes that extra mile when it comes to garden maintenance, clearing your gutters or any other neat work that should be recognised, we want to hear from you.”

Interested Gold Coast residents can participate in the program by nominating their street to be recognised as a Gold Coast ‘neat street’ until 30 September 2022.

Nominated streets will be recognised on the 2022 My Neat Street Honour Roll and nominators will go into a random prize draw, with one winner per division entitled to receive a voucher valued at $100.
