Christmas emergency service workers were kept busy on the Gold Coast overnight, with a spate of crashes including two rollovers.
The wet roads resulted in three nasty crashes across the city, hospitalising four people.
While another person was injured after a fall from a bicycle.
The first incident happened in Ashmore, when a single-vehicle lost control and rolled on the corner of Southport Nerang Road and Cotlew Street just after 6.15pm.
Meantime, a few hours later another car crashed and flipped in Worongary along Hinkler Drive, injuring two people.
Around 9.40pm in Robina, a man in his 30s fell off his bike along Christine Avenue, suffering a nasty knee injury.
Lastly, a woman in his 30s was hospitalised following a two-vehicle smash at the intersection of Cotlew Street ad Southport Nerang Road in Ashmore just before 10pm.
All five patients were transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions for further treatment.
