Multi-vehicle crash sparks long delays on Gold Coast's M1

Motorists are being warned of hefty delays southbound on the Pacific Motorway following a multi-vehicle crash.

Two trucks and a car are believed to have collided just before Exit 89 at Burleigh Heads around 11.45am.

There have been no reports of any injuries at this stage, however, emergency crews are on their way to the scene.

The Department of Traffic and Main Roads says all lanes have been blocked in the area.

Long delays are expected, with motorists being urged to avoid the area.
