Multi-vehicle crash brings M1 to a halt on Gold Coast

Motorists are being warned of heavy delays on the Pacific Motorway following a multi-vehicle crash.

The vehicles collided southbound just before the Smith Street Exit 66 at Arundel around 10.45am.

Southbound traffic is currently at a standstill back to Coomera, with delays also starting to build northbound.

It’s not known at this stage if anyone has been injured.

Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and to seek alternative routes.
