A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital following a nasty crash with a car on the northern Gold Coast.
The vehicles collided along Kerkin Road in Jacobs Well around 9.30am on Sunday.
The rider, aged in his 20s, suffered significant head injuries in the smash.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed a critical care paramedic was on board for transport.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
