A man has had to be rescued from his vehicle after allegedly losing control and flipping it on the Gold Coast overnight.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Olsen Avenue and McMillan Street at Labrador around 12.45am following reports of a serious crash.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told myGC the driver of a Nissan Skyline lost control while travelling north along Olsen Avenue before crossing the median strip and colliding with a parked Great Wall dual cab ute parked on the side of the road.
“The Skyline flipped trapping the driver and sole occupant in the vehicle,” police said.
Emergency services worked to free the 28-year-old from the wreckage of the Skyline before he was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The man was then transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
Police investigations are ongoing.
