A Gold Coast family has managed to escape a raging fire that has completely destroyed their home.
The house along Gooding Drive in Coombabah erupted into flames just before 7pm Saturday night.
Hero neighbours raced over to help a woman and two young children escape the inferno.
One of the youngsters suffered a minor burn to his ankle and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Five fire crews attempted to tackle the intense blaze, however, sadly the home has been completely destroyed.
A Queensland Police spokesperson says it’s not being treated as suspicious.
