Manly star Kieran Foran has put to bed rumours he may backflip on his deal with the Gold Coast Titans.
The 32-year-old has inked a two-year deal with the Titans from next season, but reports emerged over the past few weeks that the experienced halfback may be considering a sensational backflip.
Speaking to reporters from Sea Eagles Headquarters on Wednesday, Foran refuted the claims, insisting the speculation is completely false.
“There is no chance at all,” Foran said.
“I will be going to the Gold Coast next year.”
Foran said there had never been a point where he considered trying to get out of his deal with Gold Coast.
“Not one bit… I am completely committed,” he said.
“I signed with the Gold Coast for two seasons and I will be honouring that deal”.
It comes after coach Justin Holbrook declared the arrival of the playmaker “can’t come quick enough” after the Titans recorded their ninth straight loss of the season.
“Inexperience is what we’ve got. We can’t change that for now but we can change it for next year, we’ve just got to get on with it,” Holbrook said in his post-game press conference.
“Kieran can’t get here quick enough.”
