Police are appealing for help as they investigate a terrifying armed robbery at a Pimpama servo earlier this month.

CCTV has been released of two men wearing black hoodies and face masks entering the service station along Nexus Drive around 4.20am on October 8.

They threatened a staff member with a hammer and jumped over the counter.
