A major manhunt is continuing this morning after a popular shopping centre on the Gold Coast was the target of a brazen ram raid.
A car crashed through the front of the Asics store at Harbour Town around 5am on Thursday.
Once inside, the thieves stole an unknown amount of stock before making their getaway, leaving behind a trail of destruction.
“Police are investigating a break and enter at a shopping centre on Oxley Drive, Biggera Waters,” A Queensland Police Spokesperson told myGC.
“Initial information indicates around 5am a car was rammed into the store to gain entry and an unknown quantity of items were stolen.
“Investigations ongoing”.
Anyone with information or dashcam from the area at the time is being urged to come forward.
