Police are investigating after two businesses were broken into at Upper Coomera early this morning.
The offenders first targeted a supermarket in the suburb sometime between midnight and 1am.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said they managed to force the glass doors open, but it appears they may have been spooked as they fled empty-handed.
Around 12.10am, offenders also forced open the doors of a service station.
“Again, entry was made but no property removed,” Queensland Police said.
Detectives are currently reviewing CCTV in a bid to track down those responsible.
Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
