Police are hunting a group of brazen thieves accused of targeting multiple electric scooter stores on the Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to a store on the Old Pacific Highway at Oxenford around 2.30am after an attempt was made to break into the e-scooter business.
The thieves were unsuccessful and fled the scene empty handed.
Just hours later, offenders forced their way into another scooter store at Robina Town Centre Drive at Robina.
It’s unknown at this stage whether any scooters were stolen.
Police have confirmed investigations are ongoing.
