Police are hunting a group of thieves over an early morning smash-and-grab at a tobacconist store on the northern Gold Coast.
Four offenders targeted the Arthur Way business in Ormeau around 1.30am, using a number of implements to smash their way in through the front glass doors.
Once inside, they’re alleged to have stolen a large quantity of tobacco and vape items before taking off from the scene.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told Hot Tomato the thieves are believed to have been travelling in a silver Kluger.
They remain on the run, with police appealing for anyone with information about the robbery, especially those with dashcam from the area at the time, to come forward.
